Im a stay at home mommy too. My kids are all older,half have moved out,but wouldnt exactly call my nest empty. 6 dogs and my older kids still just appear.
At first YT was there to help my broken heart heal from my precious Bunkey passing,then everyone was encouraging to help me find my new baby,reminding me to do my homework. Now that I have Mina, the forum helps me feed my shop theropy needs. I have made friends that I have had the honor to meet face to face.
I have groomed and trained dogs for years but have still learned so much here. It has encouraged me to become more involved in animal rights and to consider adoption/fostering. For now I can donate to the "no kill rescues" in my area.
I find the people on this forum passionate about their beliefs and its ok to not agree with each other. I have seen where people have reached out and helped others with their furbabies not only in the way of advice but financially as well.
This is the only forum that I belong to and I will continue to be here in hopes of being able to return back what has been given to me in the way of advice and friendship.
