I would give them a bath in Dawn Dish soap and then follow up with the Advantix. I don't have good results with Frontline. I would use the Dawn so you don't over do the insecticides. I have used Advantix for years and have never seen any fleas/ticks and I am in a bad area for them. Good Luck
