Here's an example of the sizing, hope it helps.
Momo is wearing a XS (in the picture). He's 8" in Length & 12" Chest. It fits perfectly on him & it's very roomy on the chest but it stays on because of the elastic on the waist.

Mimi is 10" Length & 13" Chest. The Small is too big for her. It can be altered to fit.
She will fit into a XS, but her bum sticks out (about 2") lolll.
