My Oliver is 6 months old today, we have had him for 3 months. I'm having difficulty getting him "house-trained". Have tried the pee-pad (he just chews them up); he is well rewarded when he does his business outside with pats and treats; the past 2 weeks I am now putting him in his crate when he messes in the house. I thought we were making headway this week, but now this morning - he has spent a good deal of his time in his crate.

This is our 2nd Yorkie - we had Oscar for 11 years. He was 9 months old when we got him, and I don't recall having this much trouble.

Any suggestions?
