Max performs multiple sits for most things, like curtseys. If he wants food, he runs around with his Kong, drops it at my feet and does a dramatic sit. If I'm not paying attention, he will make a funny noise in his throat and sit.

It is so funny how we can read them like a book. I'm sure they can read us the same way (except that she NEVER understands I can't play ball 24/7

If I'm getting ready to leave whether she's coming or not (I tell her at the last second) I'll turn around & she'll be sitting pretty! How do you say no to that!?


I finally taught her if I say "mama be back, you wait" she'll "listen" & step back. If I don't she'll bark & whine as I walk down the steps.
