I am sorry that your baby hurt you. The whole episode has to hurt as much emotionally as it does physically. I understood form your post you already feel as bad for hitting your baby as you do over the bite. It will be okay. Just as you have forgiven him he has forgiven you. And now you know how to avoid it from happening again. It sounds like a good plan.
Thank you so much for this, we are in the middle of the floor now playing tug of war. The bite I shall keep clean and treated should be ok but if it turns sore or swollen I will go have it looked at.
