Just wanted to update you all on how the flight went
We flew last night from Vegas to NYC. Thank goodness the airport wasn't chaotic at the time we had gone. We were quickly checked in by Jetblue and proceeded to security. Since we had the Even More Legroom seat, we went through the First Class line. That was so helpful, only because I didn't feel rushed getting Zoey out of her carrier (along with my other checked in bag) and putting her back in. Of course, she was terrified and clinged onto me as we went through the metal detector and she jumped right back into her carrier afterwards.
I had given her a half of a calming chew treat an hour before the flight so as we waited to be boarded (which was about 30 minutes) she was just sleeping in her bag. I gave her the other half of the treat before boarding the plane. I underestimated how good Zoey would do on the flight! I was so nervous thinking about how miserable she would be under the seat, but she actually slept for a majority of the 5 hour flight (granted she was playing with her mom & sister before the flight and at the time she flew out, it was her usual nap time
. She didn't pee/poop in her carrier either!
