Rory and Lane are little clotheshorses.

We get most of our bows from M'Ladys Dog Bows (YT member Ladymom). She is happy to custom match a bow to any outfit for no extra charge. Her website is M'Lady's Dog Bows

There is no certain age to start a pup wearing bows, but I'd say the sooner you start the better. I'd start with a grooming band when your pup has enough hair to pull it up. Once she has adjusted to the grooming band, you can add in light weight/smaller bows and gradually work your way up to the bigger ones.

For clothes, we have lots of favorites! Our favorite designers for custom made dresses are the following:

go.fetch/tonimari (YT member Tiger's Mom): go fetch & company™
Prissy Paw Fashions (YT member crb): Prissy Paw Fashions Home Page
SissyAngelWear (YT member LuvMySissy): Home

go.fetch/tonimari also makes adorable pajamas, nighties and overalls. Prissy Paw Fashions makes great bows too. SissyAngelWear also makes great nighties.

There are a lot of wonderful YT vendors. You really can't go wrong with them!

As far as sweaters go, some of our favorites are from Oscar Newman (Oscar Newman - Pet Couture). You can only purchase the past season's items on their website, but there are many online doggie boutiques who carry the current season. One of our favorites is Luxury Dog Clothes, Designer Dog Bed, Dog Carriers, Fancy Small Dog Clothing - Poochie Heaven (YT member Poochieheaven), who also offers discounts for YT members.

Other off the rack designers we love are:

Ruff Ruff Couture (DESIGNER DOG CLOTHING, CARRIERS AND ACCESSORIES | RUFF RUFF COUTURE® |)
Wooflink (WOOFLINK - Hip & Sassy Designer Dog Clothes, Pet Carrier, Pet Jewelry <www.wooflink.com>)
Monkeydaze (Monkey Daze)
HipDoggie (Hip Doggie Clothing Company for Man's Best Friend)
Louisdog (www.louisdog.com)
I See Spot (www.iseespot.com)

If your head hasn't exploded yet, keep in mind you can often find several of these brands at other online doggie boutiques, especially since some of the websites are only for displaying the collection and not for ordering.

As you can tell I do most of my shopping for the girls online, Walmart used to have cute clothes, especially around the holidays, but recently my local stores haven't had too much. Some of it looks cheap, but a lot of it is really cute! Target often has dog tees and sometimes in the winter cheap little sweaters in the $1/$2.50 bin section. It depends on where you live but I've heard people can find some cute dog stuff at Marshall's, TJMaxx, Home Goods, Ross, etc. It's kind of a crapshoot if they'll have something cute and in your pup's size, but I think this is a great place to buy cheap clothes for a puppy who is most likely going to outgrow them. It seems it's often the very small sizes that are left. Of course, there are Petsmart and Petco too, but I honestly find some of those clothes to look cheap and be overpriced, so I'd usually rather order something online that is much cuter and only slightly more expensive. It just depends on your personal preference, though I will say I really like some of the new tees Petsmart has come out with recently.

ETA: We have some adorable Christmas jammies from T. Bumpkins & Co. (YT member 107barney).
