Maybe you should ask to talk to the vet personally just in case it was the receptionist that was making the mistake. If they still wouldn't have let you come in then I would definitly find another vet. My vet always has same day appts for emergency's in between the regular scheduled appts. We also have a 24 hour emergency vet hospital that we can use after hours!
