i still think that may not have been the real owner. for that bird to be out on its own for weeks and survive. the nights here are way too cold for a domestic bird. and birds that are domestic do not know how to survive outside.
well, anyways... i know you did what you thought was the best thing.
i hope someone finds that bird and takes care of him ....
