Lulu has never had any trouble with her tummy, never thrown up, or had any loose stools. I was shocked when she began throwing up at 6am. She threw up several times but by 630 she was acting better & no more throwing up. I called the vet anyway & they got me in first thing this morning. They did blood work & a fecal and confirmed she has pancreatitis. The vet was also concerned about some other levels that came back slightly elevated (cant remember exactly what). She said dehydration could cause the abnormal readings, but once Lulu has recovered from this she will be doing a bile acid test just to make sure.
I am sad & worried. I am thankful that we caught it so early, but I hated leaving Lulu all alone. She will stay at least 2 days.
