Yorkies just generally have terrible teeth. Breeder doesn't really matter. I mean, some will be fine, but a lot do get very diseased mouths.
It probably is common for her dogs, but that just means she probably isn't getting dentals as needed (with no homecare, that is usually at least once yearly for Yorkies). People have told me it is normal too. It's not normal. It's just what is said to avoid vetting the dogs in most cases. A bunch of teeth shouldn't fall out.
My Yorkie's teeth started falling out too, but she had periodontal disease. And this happened because her mouth wasn't properly cared for. Not saying that is what is going on in your case, but perhaps the breeder's..
