It is infuriating that the boy's lawyer would be upset with the Judge. He threw the book at him because the client refused to admit his role in the assault. He was given a chance for a reduced sentence which the other boy accepted. Her client just thought he could get away with it if he contested she should have advised him otherwise. It was not the judge who made him into a felon over 7 cents it was the boy himself. Hopefully he will learn his lesson now. I have no sympathy for any teen who would beat and rob an elderly man or anyone for that matter. That is my 2 cents.
