It's possible, but improbable with the current symptoms and bloodwork. You can run a Spec cPL to be which is what I'd be doing.
"If" it is pancreatitis (big if), then nothing by mouth. That's why fluids would be needed.
I'm very concerned that he is still hiding and do wonder about pain. I'd be inclined to rule out pancreatitis and have the vet look for where the pain could be coming from. His legs and back all been palpated? If he was just burping with no vomiting or diarrhea, I wouldn't be totally convinced that it's intestinal.
