Yeah, from what I understand, it is extremely painful! My Mom had them and I remember how bad it was (right under her breast and back, where her bra went.) My DH still has pain from his.Post-herpetic neuralgia is what the condition is called, and can last several months. Insult to injury, if you ask me.
