Congrats on your new baby! Your other fur kid Dega and baby will communicate in their special way to figure out who's going to be top dog or not. They have to go through this time to adjust. Just watch over them and give them both attention at the same time so no jealousy takes part.
The bonding takes place and they learn to live in harmony almost always.
I am going through the same process now and have been given some excellent advise which has been working.
