The vet had me try diff foods and cut her snacks. Nothing worked so we ran a costly serious of tests because I NEED to know what is wrong with my baby girl. She has Liver disease. I believe it is Liver Shunts. Her toxins are very high. We are currently giving her Milk thistle but if it doesnt fix things then we will have to give her antibotics. I have an amazing vet that tries to help u with natural treatment first. He is very caring and does not want to over charge people.

I am so concerned about my baby girl. Anyone else have this issue with their doggies.
I don't believe this thread is about this particular breeder - Fancy Face Yorkies is in California in the states not Canada. That said - I worked with Rose at Fancy Face Sentimental in Canada several years ago - she even designed some of the graphics on my website and gave them to me for free. I found Rose very knowlegeable, kind, and ethical. I haven't talked with her in several years but I doubt she has changed much. I'm very sorry your little girl is sick but I have never heard of liver shunt causing intermittent blood in feces. Milk thistle is fine to help with liver shunt if that is what she has been diagnosed with but you really should get a second opinion for antibiotics, low protein diet, and possible lactulose if she is that bad. Have you spoken with the breeder about these issues? I always recommend people work with their breeder if there are issues. Good luck with your little girl - I hope she feels better and lives a long life.
