We were babysitting him but dh fell in love with him so, Tyler is here to stay. He was neutered last week and is at the groomer today to get rid of a mess of long uneven hair. I'll post some before and after shots. He is a little on the heavy side even at 4lb's but he is a very small yorkie in my opinion. No wonder the breeder used him so much. He also seems to be an omega type. He will approach the other dogs but let them decide where it goes from there. Since I adopted Gracie from this breeder she and Tyler lived together for a while and I swear she recognized him. She started trying to get him to play and seemed so happy to see him. If you know Gracie's story you know she is NOT a play monger. He follows us around just to see what we are doing and seems to think his place is in a lap. All in all he is a very sweet little guy. Doesn't seem to be a heavy barker. He got used to being crated after only two nights.
He does still have a leg lifting issue but even that is going away as we set the boundaries for him. By the way, the cat hissed at him twice now after a week they are rolling around on the floor looking at each other. Touhy purrs when they do that so I guess she has accepted him. Adie and Skeeter are cautious but warming.
How exciting!!!Lucky999
