Hi. Not quite sure what you mean by the "use a growth regular and the adulticide" exactly. My dogs are 1 and a half and 2 years old. But they r mt first house pets so still new at this stuff. We dont have a flea issue in the huse that I know of. Dont see any, dont get bites and whenever I do notice them w fleas I try to treat w the pill although its been a hassle this time. And we wash all bedding etc. As far as giving them the same way we give heart worm pills, Ive never even given them heart worm pills, I thought that was what the annual shots were for. Is this something Im supposed to be doing also?
