I am so glad that this was brought up. You did nothing wrong and had your furbaby in your yard so the neighbor is responsible for the entire vet bill. It might be different if both of your dogs were on public property, but yours was on your property when the attack occured. I encourage you to file a report... if these dogs are attacking small animals they can surely attack other animals, children, and even adults as well... and their size makes them very hard to get away from once they are in attack mode.
