Well, I am no vet but I would be willing to make a good-sized bet that no elective surgery protocol in veterinary medicine states to prep for surgery, administer pre-op medications, time-out for cardiac resuscitation and stabilization, proceed with administering pre-op anesthesia and elective surgery!!! Call owner once pulmonary edema develops.

I am so very sorry for your terrible loss and all the awful things that happened to your little Ty. I cannot imagine the pain that you are feeling but hopefully getting to the bottom of why he had to die and stopping it from happening again will help you some. God bless you. Rest in Peace, Baby Ty.
