I am sure the eye colors matching different types of coats is correct. There are just too many people that have found this to be true. One poster said that there is, indeed, a scientific explanation for this - but he didn't want to go into it in his post.
I think my pup is going to have a silky coat. He has straight hair that doesn't seem to matt - can comb right through it (so far - knock on wood!) BUT - his eyes have never shown any color in a picture other than brown.
I'm wondering - I have the "red eye" feature turned on on my camera. It keeps eyes from showing up red in the pictures I take. I wonder if this doesn't also keep other colors from showing up..... greens, oranges, reds, etc.
Just a thought.
