This post reminded me of something I haven't thought about for years.
Many years ago, I worked at a mental institution. There was a young boy patient there. He was moderately retarted - severly cross-eyed, crippled, and had many other physical anomalies that impaired his health in many ways. Just looking at him and trying to talk with him, you could tell that he had severe mental and physical problems. I am certain that he is spending his entire life in that institution and will never be able to leave.
He was the product of incest - his parents were a brother and sister.
