I'm so sorry you lost your little yorkie in this manner.
I too, find it hard to believe, that he was sedated AFTER having gone into cardiac arrest and 'brought back'. I mean, what kind of Vet would do that? I like to think that mine would have called and said ' hey, little problem, here's what happenened; and we will NOT be doing an elective procedure today."
It would seem much more likely (though still rare) that he suffered cardiac arrest DURING the procedure and after the anesthesia was administered.
However, they called and said he was doing well . . . so I do not know.
