Ringo used to take human grade fish oil caps (I would just break the capsule and squirt it onto his food).

So, you should have no problem.

There is a formula for dogs - I believe it has more Omega 6 than Omega 3 (or something like that) but two different Vets have mentioned the Omega 6 vs 3 to me.

We have Ringo on that one long term to see if it will help with his itchy skin.
