Yeah me too. I was going to look for a quality breeder, and saw this lady and thought well, maybe I can give one of the poor breeding dogs a good pet home! Guess not :/
And the bullmastif owner bailed on me, as she wants to meet me first and I can't get to her before the end of september due to my husband having the vehicle out of town til then. Which is totally understandable, I'd want to too!
I am a total sucker for unwanted pets. Not so much from byb breeders, but from owners/shelters. So I'll keep searching! I put in a want page at the two nearest SPCA's for what I'm looking for as well! I guess I could be risking the medical problems with a shelter dog or rehome vs. going straight to a quality breeder, but really with so many pets in shelters and online for free by owner why wouldn't I give one a chance at a good life... and I've been saving for medical expenses
