 Is there such thing as a "flea shot"? They wont take the pill.
Hi. Im having flea pill troubles. Ive spent 46 dollars in three days on two rounds of the Comfortis pill for my dogs. We tried a second time tonight, had decent luck w the yorkie. But he threw up so, I dont know if it stayed in his system long enough this time for it to work. I have a Lhasa Apso too and she is horribly stubborn and hard to deal with, though terribly cute.lol We've tried smearing p nut butter on it, they eat it and leave the pill, same thing w cheese. We even have tried putting down her throat manually but she gets soo worked up and caughs it back up. I even tried crushing it in wet dog food. She still wont take it. The yorkie finally ate 95 percent of it but later threw up, so dont know if got into his system long enough. I dont know what else to try. This was our secon round of thrying the pills in three days. Spent $46 already, i hate to buy more. Is there a great working flea shot that the vet could give? I dont know of any,was wondering if anybody else did? |
