There are several different Biewer clubs, and some of the Biewer clubs have a poor reputation, while others have a good reputation, and don't won't to be confused with those clubs who have a poor reputation. To make it even more confusing is some of the groups changed names several times. In addition, it sounds like this person was managing the registry that some of the clubs used.
It would be like if a YTCA member found out an AKC manager was breeding dogs and abusing them, you just wouldn't want to be associated with the registry that had "managers" doing that.
I have tried to explain this the way I understand it. Please feel free to correct me.
