Keep the fire extinguishers handy. I always do that when we have a storm in Texas - get out all the lanterns, flashlights, cellphone lantern, candles - and due to the candles - the fire extinguishers! If you don't have a fire extinguisher, search online for how to put out a candle fire - just in case. We have more fires here in Texas due to plain old candle burning than almost anything - especially around Christmas.
