She sounds like what they used to call a "weather dog" - one of those dogs acutely aware of coming storms with great barometric changes. I've heard that once the barometer stabilizes, they calm down unless there is a great wind event. Then they just revert to being a regular dog that barks at the wind and/or the loud bumps from things loose in the wind.
