Tibbe was so so so wild when I first got him I had to employ the towel method his first week - he needed lots of treatment for things and had little social interaction and at 9 mos., he was strong and could really fight me. Now, he lets me do anything to him with only a drawback but no fighting, running, growling. He will even come to me when it is toothbrushing and toenail time. He's come to far but at first, we had some tough times. When you are done - however you do it - really love and praise him a lot and tell him how very proud you are of him and spend some time with him touching/kissing a lot so he will associate the unpleasant experience with a following very, very good time and getting lots of love and affection.
