I asked Adi and Missy is still not better. What I saw on Wednesday was really bad. Her entire hind quarters was a huge matted mess, the area around her tail was just inflamed from all the flea bites, scratching, and bitting Missy had done. Believe it or not, what I saw was 10x's better than what Missy had going on in the morning. They're not allowed to bathe or groom her until the ointment is all done. My only guess is she got attacked by a big group of fleas; it made her itch like crazy, and by the time thy got to the vet, the damage to her skin was done. They're doing their best, and just have to wait for the skin to heal.
