Gracie is still working on not being afraid of Storms. She had an awful experience as a puppy. At her first home she was left out on an open deck during a very bad thunder storm. At her second home, she was put in the garage alone, because the people couldn't stand her yelping and whining during storms. Now she gets her thunder shirt, special blankey, and pink baby*. Then she lays by me. No more panting and screaming yelps. She still shakes at loud thunder but it is getting better. Maybe someday she will be a brave big girl like Callie !
* pink baby is a candy bar sized toy I made for her. IT has no stuffing just several layers of pink fleece and black thread eyes, nose and smiley face. | Poor baby that is so bad that her previous owners did that! I am glad she has a good mommy to take care of her now.
