My stepson and his wife are the same with dogs, they get them knowing they are really just to busy to give them the attention they need. My daughter ended up taking the last dog they had, a lab mix, she has all sorts of issues, but at least she is now in a loving home.
I think some folks think, well we have kids now, better get a dog
