That IS exciting and was good for my soul when local area vets started referring customers to me. Even BETTER than that was the first time a veterinarian purchased a puppy from me. He wasn't very happy to have to pay money for a dog, was used to taking home ones that were surrendered at the office, but his wife insisted on choosing her own puppy that time. It took her several months to drag him over here, and he went over my puppy and her parents quite thoroughly before agreeing they should have her.
Anyway, good for you. That was a big compliment and you should be proud!
