 Yorkie colouring
The proper colouring for Yorkies is to be born black and tan. As they mature, colour changes just as you have seen. There will likely be further changes on the black with it changing to a steel blue or can go light all the way to a silver. Furnishings should be a shaded tan but some will not be shaded staying quite dark and again some furnishings will lighten all the way to a light blonde colour. Some can stay the black and tan but the head should go to the tan or gold.
Usually by the time they are about 2 years old, the colour you see is what it is.
