Wally got neutered yesterday. I picked him up at 4pm and he was doing fine - just a little lethargic. They said that a few side effects from the anesthesia and pain meds that they injected were vomiting and diarrhea.

He did fine last night, and though he had a little looser stool than normal, everything seemed to be going just fine. This morning he had his normal amount of energy and seemed to be back to his old self.

I came home from work this evening and he had a diarrhea explosion in his kennel while I was gone. He had also thrown up. I got him and everything else cleaned up, but I'm a little worried. I know they said to expect this for 24 - 48 hours, but he has NEVER had a single #2 accident in his kennel - not even when he was a little pup.

Did anyone else experience this after neuter or spay surgery? At what point do I need to be concerned? Like I said, he is acting totally normal except for this setback today.
