We stayed here through hurricane Bob...we were just married for about 3 weeks. We ended up losing 17 white pines...one landed on my shed, another on the addition on my house. Remarkably they did not do a lot of damage. My neighborhood is pretty tight knit so we all took turns cooking all our food and sharing it, before it went bad. We were without water(well) and electric for 16 days. But it was kind of fun because everyone worked together. We all cleaned up each others properties and helped each other out. I tape my big bay window...but that is pretty much it. I didn't lose any windows through hurricane Bob.
