Do you have a garage? maybe she will go just outside the garage- that is what we did when I was potty training Sophie Kate. Does your dog know a command like "go potty" or "make" for when you want her to go?
I do not regret training her for potty pads and outside, it is times just like what you are talking about when it is handy.
