My niece has a 10 month old black lab female. She also has two children (5 mos. and 2 yrs.) The poor dog spends 99% of her time in the dark hot garage. She gets very little exercise and is overweight for her age......she also has not been spayed, and only has the shots the breeder gave her!!! My niece has had her since she was 8 weeks old. I go and take the dog as often as I can......she very needy and clingy when she is with me (understandably)! I am just so frustrated I could scream!!! tonight I went over there to let her out, because they went to a concert this afternoon, and won't be back till late tonight.....they hadn't made any arrangements for anyone to let her out, I knew they were gone, so I went over. They won't listen to reason about finding her a new home.....this poor baby deserves better than she is getting!! She is a beautiful, smart girl....not a mean bone in her body!! I would take her, but I don't have the room. Don't know if anyone will read this, but just needed to vent!!
