When do you, as breeders, step in and shave your yorkie puppy ears so that they will start standing up? My litter of 5 yorkies is 4 weeks and 3 days old. I notice that for the most part they are floppy. Occasionally, they will pull them back and they will stand for a few seconds. The hair on their body is growing rapidly. My breeder mentor gave me the answer of "depends on the puppy". That does not help me. In general, when do you start helping your yorkie babies get there ears to stand up?
