YT is a fantastic place to start, and so much reading here & people willing to answer questions. Welcome!!! Go to pet stores where there are books/magazines specifically about yorkies. Check out book stores. Of course there's Google & other search engines. While reading, keep in mind that not all experts agree on everything (on any subject). It can get quite confusing at times, but you fine tune your knowledge with the yorkie that you get and things will sort themself out. Above all, use your common sense & be ready to use your imagination to come up with solutions. There will be no specific book/manual for each individual yorkie. They are all different, just like skinkids. What works for one may not work for the next.

Yorkies seem to a dog that wants to be near you... which means giving you a lot of company. Roxy usually follows me from room to room to room & gives me something to smile & laugh about everyday! I've never had another dog be so entertaining. LUV it! She has turned out to be such an independant little stinkpot, but some are real cuddle bears. Important to accept whichever yours turns out to be. Good luck in your search.
