There are 2 pieces of advice I can give you off the bat. #1- don't be in a hurry when searching for your puppy. Be committed to wait if necessary. Remember, it will all be worth it in the end. #2- When searching, don't go searching for puppies, search exclusively for breeders. All puppies are cute and can steal our hearts in an instant. That's how unscrupulous breeders get you. Sometimes, good breeders don't have any puppies at the moment you find them. There is nothing wrong with waiting.
To start, you can go through the YTCA, the mother club if the Yorkshire Terrier. Or you can look at rescues. Either way, you can find a loving baby.
