I would have asked to have a blood work organ screening done. My neighbor poodle had bloody diarrhea and it turned out he got into some trash bacteria. The vets found out through blood work and he was so week, it was hard to believe he would make it, he is a great dog and more on the older side. They took him in time . I hope blood work was done to make sure all will be fine.
