I have a couple of questions regarding food products .
I currently have dex on taste of the wild ( Sierra formula). This is all that dex has had since I have had him, other than diamond food that the breeder had him on prior to me getting him. He seems to like the TOTW, but he has been having a lot of Tear staining. I am not sure if this is genetic, or from the food. Also, like someone else's post my baby is defecating A LOT!!! I dont know if this is normal or not. I am feeding him the recommended amount per the manufacture and he is eating 2x a day.
Has anyone fed their babies this food and had similar issues?
Can any of you guys/ gals recommend another food brand ?

Hi,I couldn't help but to notice that you mentioned your pup had been defecating a lot. Both of my dogs have been on TOTW various formulas ( most recently Wetlands) for about 6months. During seperate weeks, they each had diarrhea and vomitting. I've seen the vet about it and they seem to be fine now mostly. However,I have noticed increased tear staining and my Louis (3yr) has increased itching and dry skin since being on this food. The vet thinks that he may have allergies, but I'm not sure to what exactly. I'm seeking another dog food also. The thing is, I'm just not really sure where to start. The ingredients seem to be pretty good in TOTW and it's fairly reasonably priced. I hope to find something good for them.
