I agree, to teach your walker to put his harness on. Leaving it on all the time can't be comfortable for him, and if he is alone, he could get it caught up on something when no one is around (same with a collar). Also, a quick brushing out in the tangle areas after your walk is a good idea to keep the coat from breaking.
