I feed RC for Yorkshire Terriers and it's very similar to this and Joey's doing well on it. I don't think of it as junk food, but some people call it that because yorkies seem to like it. They assume that just because a food is tasty, it's not nutritious. This is a big understanding in nutrition. Nutritious foods can appeal to our sense of taste and smell. RC knows that Yorkies are fussy eaters and tried to formulate a food that they would enjoy. How is your dog doing on it? Does he have problems with gas, diarrhea, vomiting? How's his coat, is it thick and shiny? Does he have excessive tearing of the eyes? I think these are all indications of how well your dog is doing on a food, and if this food helps him get to his healthy weight that's another bonus.
