I was praying mine wouldn't be over $329.00 - had that number set in my head. It was $184 something!!! And I live in the heatzone of the world this summer - D/FW, Texas!!! We've had so many 100 plus days and 105's, 106's, etc., I was worrying how big the bill really would be. When I saw that number, I nearly fainted. But I am fairly cold-natured and turn my AC up when it gets much below 78 or 76, unless I'm having a hot flash - then it's down to 70 for a while! ha. This AC unit I've had since 2005 will freeze you to death if you'd let it! I remember the orthopedic surgeon I worked for in the early 80's regularly had electric bills in the summer approaching $600.00 - way back then. Wonder what they are now???
