I have a 9 week old he has been eating dry food for about 3 weeks now. I never moistened it, at first I smashed a small amount with a hammer and he took to it right away. He is eating just fine now, no smashing, I make sure he has fresh water available at all times also. He weighs around 28 ozs. and is gaining fine.
