I SO hope that the storm will stay a Cat 1! I'm definely keeping everyone in it's path in my thoughts and prayers!
I get really, really paranoid this time of year for hurricanes, especially after having lived long enough to remember Camille, Frederick, Andrew, Ivan, Katrina, and many others that tore up everything. Luckily, the only storms that were really bad here where I live was Frederick and Ivan. Don't want to go through that Hell again!
